Erik K. Olstein

EKOErik K. Olstein, President and Chief Operating Officer of Olstein Capital Management, has been with that firm since its 1995 inception. Mr. Olstein oversees the daily operations of the firm’s investment research, portfolio management, trading, client development and relationship management functions. Mr. Olstein also serves as an officer and trustee of the firm’s affiliated mutual fund complex, Olstein Funds. Previously, he worked as a securities trader for Lehman Brothers. Before entering the financial industry, Mr. Olstein served as an aviator in the United States Navy. He is a trustee of the Trinity-Pawling School and trustee and treasurer of the US Naval Service Personal Educational Assistance Fund Inc. Mr. Olstein also serves as a trustee and president of the American Friends of the National Museum of the Royal Navy (UK). He holds a BA in political science from George Washington University.
