Four local chefs will participate for the best clam chowder. Each ticket holder will be provided a tasting-sized portion of each of the four chowders and then use a ballot to vote for their favorite. Proceeds from this event help support the operations of the  Friends of the North Carolina Maritime Museum  and the  North Carolina Maritime Museum  in Beaufort.
