Tribeca Sailing offers an elegant sailing tour of NYC Harbor aboard a classic sailboat. Two-hour sails for up to six passengers, seven days a week, five times a day.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Departing from North Cove Marina in Battery Park City, the touring party will sail past all the wonderful sights of NY Harbor: Freedom Tower, Governors and Ellis Islands and the Statue of Liberty. Captain David will inform you with little known and unique facts and how the harbor played a part in history.

The tour takes place aboard Tara, a 1964 Hinckley Custom Pilot 35 sailboat, designed by the famous Sparkman and Stephens design team. Only 117 Pilot 35’s were built, with only four custom-labeled. The 25th boat to roll out of the Hinckley Company Maine facility, Tara became a custom Pilot 35 as her coach roof was built higher than the normal Pilot 35. Tara is extremely stable, comfortable, and fun to sail. Sailing aboard Tara is a very special and unique experience.
