Join us for a special seminar spotlighting the winning artists of the 2025 Art of the Sea juried exhibition and sale presented in partnership by the American Society of Marine Artists (ASMA) and the National Maritime Historical Society.
This program celebrates the artists whose work captures the beauty, history, and emotion of the sea. Including sculptures and paintings, these selected works tell maritime stories—depicting historic vessels, marine life, waterways, and coastal scenes. More than 300 original works were submitted for the exhibition. A jury composed of officers from both NMHS and ASMA selected 44 pieces for inclusion in the show, and six were named award winners.
In this live Zoom event, we’ll hear from the winning artists. They’ll present their work, discuss their creative process, and share what draws them to maritime subjects.
About the Exhibition
Art of the Sea is the inaugural online exhibition and sale presented by NMHS and ASMA, promoting the original fine art that celebrates America’s maritime story. The exhibition will be live online from 1 June to 1 July, with all featured works available for purchase.
